(New York, NY) — Everyone marching in this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade must be fully vaccinated. There are some other COVID-19 rules being enforced as well. No kids under the age of 12 will be allowed on floats this year with vaccine eligibility having expanded too recently. One such float is “Celebration Gator,” which pays tribute to New Orleans and checks in as the parade’s longest float ever at 60-feet. NBC is also rolling out a glittering peacock that will include an embedded screen and the parade’s first-ever live stream.
