(Kenosha, WI) — The fate of Kyle Rittenhouse is now in the hands of a Wisconsin jury. Rittenhouse is the 18-year-old who claims he killed two men and injured a third in self-defense last year during protests. A judge is allowing lesser charges to be considered in one of the three shootings. Prosecutors argued for it in case the jury doesn’t convict Rittenhouse on more serious charges, widely believed to be a fallback for a poor prosecution case. Jurors got the case after closing arguments ended on Monday. They are set to start deliberations on Tuesday.
