(Washington, DC) — The Biden administration is preparing for a rollout of COVID vaccinations for kids, ages five-to-eleven, even though FINAL APPROVAL has not bee given. That would follow expected final approval from federal health officials. White House COVID response coordinator Jeff Zients said the administration is also pushing efforts to get affordable rapid-test kits in homes across the U.S. CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said new COVID cases and hospitalizations keep trending downward. The death rate remains at roughly one-thousand per day.
