(Los Angeles, CA) — The number of coronavirus cases in Los Angeles County continues to drop. Local health officials say the number of patients fell from 670 on Saturday to 656 today. This is the 36th time in the last 41 days that the number of COVID-19 patients in county hospitals declined. The total number of coronavirus cases in L.A. County is one-million-469-thousand-790 while the region’s death toll stands at 26-thousand-308. About 90-percent of all COVID-related fatalities occurred in people with underlying health conditions.
