(Los Angeles, CA) — Two major theme parks will begin requiring proof of COVID vaccination, or a negative COVID test result, from all guests 12 and older starting today. Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia is only requiring it on certain days, while Universal Studios Hollywood in Universal City wants proof of vaccination from all eligible guests going forward. So far, all Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in October will require proof of vaccination for entry at Six Flags. The theme parks adjusted their rules to comply with recent L.A. County Health Department rules that require added safeguards at outdoor “mega events” with crowds of more than ten-thousand people.
