(Rancho Mirage, CA) — Most golfers dream of getting a hole in one, but an Arizona boy can say he has two of them. Jake Martinez of Tucson made two holes-in-one during a round on September 18th in Rancho Mirage, California. He was competing in the U.S. Kids Palm Springs Open when he aced the fifth and 12th holes at the Mission Hills North course. Jake’s father Rick told Golfweek his son accomplishing the feat only confirmed his thought that Jake would beat him to getting a hole in one. As for what club Jake used to get the holes-in-one, it was a pitching wedge as one hole was just 100 yards and the other was 110 yards long.
