Rams Beat Colts; Wentz Leaves With Injury
(Indianapolis, IN) — The Rams defeated the Colts today — 27-24 at Lucas Oil Stadium. Matthew Stafford completed 19-of-30 passes for 278 years, two touchdowns and an interception as L.A. improves to two-and-oh. Darrell Henderson, Junior ran for 53 yards and 13 carries with a touchdown for Sean McVay’s team. Carson Wentz threw for 245 yards and a TD for Indianapolis before leaving the game in the fourth due to an injury. His substitute Jacob Eason threw an interception to Jalen Ramsey in the fourth that allowed the Rams to hold on to the lead and win the game. Rodrigo Blankenship kicked three field goals for the Colts — who are now oh-and-two.
The Chargers lost at the final gun to the Cowboys, 20-17. The Bolts are now 1-1.
