(Los Angeles, CA) — Trevor Bauer’s paid leave is being extended by the MLB for the eighth time. The L.A. Dodgers pitcher’s administrative leave was extended today through next Friday, according to a league official. The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office is determining whether to file sexual assault charges against Bauer. He last pitched June 28th, the day before his accuser filed for a temporary restraining order laying out her accusations, stating he punched her while she was unconscious during a sexual encounter in May.
