(St. Louis, MO) — A St. Louis judge is rejecting a bid by the Los Angeles Rams and the NFL to move next year’s trial over the team’s 2016 move out of St. Louis. In denying the league’s motion for a change of venue yesterday, the Circuit Court judge said there’s no evidence that possible St. Louis jurors have an inherent bias. A lawsuit filed in 2017 claims the NFL violated its own relocation rules by allowing the Rams to move to L.A. A trial date is set for January of next year. The Rams will meet the Chicago Bears at Sofi Stadium for the 2021 opener on September 12th.
