(Hollywood, CA) — A renown Hollywood theater will soon require ticket holders to be fully vaccinated against the coronavirus. The Pantages Theatre will also demand that theatergoers show proof of vaccination. Pantages General Manager Jeff Loeb says the policy is based on current guidelines being enforced at all 41 theaters along Broadway in New York. Loeb adds “this is a national trend for live performance venues to require vaccinations.” The Hollywood Boulevard venue is scheduled to reopen August 17th with a production of “Hamilton.” The theater’s owners say the vaccine policy will be in effect for performances through October 10th and will be re-assessed on an ongoing basis.
