(Los Angeles, CA) — The city of Los Angeles officially has a new logo. L.A.’s Tourism and Convention Board unveiled the new logo yesterday. It was designed by House Industries and Shepard Fairey’s Studio Number One. The logo features “Los Angeles” written in cursive, fading from pink to teal below an illustration of a setting sun. The upgraded logo that is reminiscent of the ’80s was meant to stage a comeback for the city’s tourism industry after the COVID pandemic. The logo will appear on the nonprofit organization’s social media platforms and in its marketing, promotion and sales activity to target travelers to L.A.
