(Sacramento, CA) — CAL/OSHA could require workplaces to maintain COVID-19 protocols until at least July 31st, well beyond the state’s targeted June 15th reopening date. Physical distancing and plexiglass barriers will still be required. While employees would be able to work without face coverings outdoors, indoor mask requirements could only be lifted if all employees and customers are vaccinated. Workplaces would also be required to keep a copy of employees’ COVID vaccination records. CAL/OSHA is expected to vote on the revised guidelines on Thursday, June 3rd.
