(Washington, DC) — Utah Senator Mitt Romney is being rewarded for voting to convict former President Trump during his first impeachment trial last year. The Kennedy family selected Romney for the Profile in Courage Award for becoming the first Senator in U.S. history to vote to convict a President in his same party. Romney faced backlash from the former President and members of his party following his vote. The Utah senator says he’s appreciative of the honor, but also humbled by it. He says he would absolutely do it again.
