(Chicago, IL) — The Shamrock Shake is back at McDonald’s. The shake is available at participating restaurants starting today. The dessert has soft serve vanilla ice cream blended with Shamrock Shake flavor and whipped cream. The shake was created in 1967 by Hal Rosen, a Connecticut McDonald’s Owner-Operator who invented the sweet treat in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day.
