(New York, NY) — Wall Street is starting February in the green. Stocks rallied after last week’s steep selloff as investors focused on quarterly earnings and economic stimulus talks. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 229 points to 30-211. The S&P 500 rose 59 points to 37-73. And the Nasdaq climbed 332 points to 13-403.

Microsoft and Visa led the Dow Jones higher in Monday’s session. Meanwhile, GameStop shares fell more than 30 percent and lost almost a third of its value. Robinhood and other trading apps continued to limit buying of the stock. Silver surged above 30 dollars an ounce as retail traders bet on precious metals.
