(Sacramento, CA) — California’s Department of Motor Vehicles will resume behind-the-wheel driving tests starting next week. The DMV postponed in-person driving tests due to the surge in coronavirus cases in California. They have set February 1st as the date to resume driving tests for people looking to meet the requirements for first-time drivers licenses and commercial license applicants. All previously canceled tests will be automatically rescheduled and those looking to make new appointments can do so starting in mid-February.
