With daily COVID-19 infection numbers trending downward, L-A County restaurants will be able to reopen for outdoor dining beginning today…Eateries join other businesses, like barbershops and nail salons, that were allowed to reopen Monday – albeit with strict infection- control requirements. Restaurants will be under similarly strict health mandates. Among the new mandates facing restaurants – no TV. This is an effort to prevent overcrowding for events like the Super Bowl. Other restrictions – 50 percent of their outdoor capacity, no more than six at a table and tables must be eight feet apart.
