(Los Angeles, CA) — Fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli will finish his prison term behind bars. Yesterday, a federal judge denied his bid to serve the last three months at home. Giannulli said he spent the first two months under “extreme” conditions in solitary confinement, but the judge said he failed to demonstrate a compelling reason for his release. Giannulli reported to prison on November 19th and thought he would only be in quarantine until he tested negative for COVID, but he was held in isolation for 56 days, according to court documents. He and his wife actress Lori Loughlin had pleaded guilty in May to bribing the University of Southern California to admit their daughters.
