(Washington, DC) — House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy thinks former President Donald Trump will have an important role to play in the Republican Party in the years ahead.
McCarthy told reporters Trump “listened to voices that no one else was hearing, in either party.” Trump has moved to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy recognized important contributions that former President Donald Trump showed during his presidency, saying “This president brought a lot of great success with him. He brought people to the party that hadn’t been involved before and he should continue to engage in that way.”
