(Washington, DC) — President Biden plans to require masks on planes, trains, and buses. The President will sign an executive order requiring people wear them in airports and on public transportation including many planes, trains, and buses traveling between cities. Travel industry officials like the idea. Airlines have had mask mandates for months but they rely on passengers\’ voluntary compliance. Airline officials say Biden\’s executive order will give the mask mandate the same legal weight as wearing seatbelts and not smoking.
