Biden’s Peloton May Be Security Risk in White House
(Wilmington, DE) — A key piece of exercise equipment won’t be coming with President-elect Joe Biden to the White House: his Peloton. Popular Mechanics says the at-home stationary bikes have internet-controlled cameras and microphones that can pose a security risk. The Verge reported in 2017 that Michelle Obama had a stripped-down version of the bike, but no one at the company would confirm that. The 25-hundred-dollar bike came into the nation’s focus after an ad of their’s went viral in 2019 and sales have spiked since the pandemic with more people working from home.
