CA Vaccine Rollout Falling Behind One-Million Dose Goal
(Sacramento, CA) — New updates show California is far from reaching the goal of vaccinating one-million people in ten days. That’s another massive blow to Governor’s vaccine rollout plan. Health officials say 500-thousand more vaccines are needed by the end of today in order to reach that goal in that time frame.
A spokesperson from the Governor’s office says that the deadline was set to get the vaccination process sped up and that any progress is good. California’s rollout plan has been heavily criticized for being confusing and slow, among one of the most chaotic rollouts in the country according to the CDC.
