(Washington, DC) — Two Capitol Police officers are being suspended for their behavior during last week’s violent protest in D.C. The chairman of the House panel handling the investigation into the police response made the announcement. Congressman Tim Ryan identified the pair as one who took a selfie with a protester and another officer who put on a MAGA hat and started directing people around. Ryan also said a third person was arrested but gave few details. Ryan confirmed that about a dozen Capitol Police officers are under investigation for their actions during the deadly January 6th attack.
