(Sacramento, CA) — A group of California lawmakers and community leaders are calling for the state to re-open. The “Re-Open Cal Now” group plans to show up at the state Capitol at 4 p.m. Saturday to protest the continued closure, but they’ll also be meeting all weekend. A statement on their website claims the state is selectively choosing data and science that supports their political goals. Sacramento Supervisor Sue Frost, Riverside Supervisor Jeff Hewitt and Orange Supervisor Don Wagner are leading the group. They’ll be joined by Congressman Tom McClintock, Sheriff Scott Jones and others. You can visit their website by clicking HERE
