(Santa Monica, CA) — Organizers are postponing the 2021 Grammys due to coronavirus concerns. A new date is being considered for March. The Grammys had originally been set for the end of this month, with safety restrictions to boot. But this comes as COVID cases surge in California, bringing into question the Santa Monica-based awards ceremony. This year, Beyoncé leads the pack with nine nominations, followed by Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift and Roddy Ricch with six each. Trevor Noah was set to host the show, but at this point it’s unclear if he will remain in that role.
