(Los Angeles, CA) — Engineers with the U.S. Army Corps are in Los Angeles to help with the coronavirus outbreak. Governor Gavin Newsom says they will help evaluate oxygen systems at half-a-dozen hospitals across the county. The director of the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services Mark Ghilarducci says this will improve the hospital’s ability to provide “life-sustaining medical care” amid the coronavirus pandemic.
