NFL Fines Kamara For Christmas-Themed Cleats
(New York, NY) — The NFL is coming after Alvin Kamara and his Christmas-themed cleats after all. The league fined the New Orleans Saints running back five-thousand-dollars after wearing red-and-green cleats on Christmas Day, when he tied a league record and scored six touchdowns against the Minnesota Vikings. It is less than the six-thousand, 79 dollars the league fined him around Christmas time for the same reason in 2017. After the game, Kamara said he’d match the fine and donate it to charity, but no word as to whom he’d be donating to.
Also, the Saints are going to be without one of their biggest weapons for at least this weekend, and possibly the first weekend of the playoffs. Multiple outlets are reporting New Orleans have placed Alvin Kamara on the reserve/COVID list. The running back was held out of practice Friday after a positive test. He is coming off a Christmas Day game where he tied an NFL record with six rushing touchdowns against the Minnesota Vikings
