(Undated) — The owner of the Washington Football Team claims he’s being extorted. Daniel Snyder has pointed the finger at minority owner Dwight Schar in court filings just a day after the Washington Post detailed a 2009 sexual misconduct settlement where the NFL franchise paid more than a million-and-a-half dollars to an employee. Snyder claims that the threat of leaking information about “meritless allegations” constitute an extortion attempt by Schar. Neither Schar nor his lawyers have commented.
