(Washington, DC) — Seventy-two-percent of Americans support President-elect Joe Biden’s idea for a general nationwide mask mandate. According to a survey by left-leaning Vox and Data for Progress, 69-percent of respondents supported a mask requirement while on federal property like courthouses and post offices. And 66-percent thought masks should be worn while around anyone outside one’s own household. The mandates also found support among both Democrats and Republicans. The rule would be part of a list of initiatives to staunch the spread of COVID-19 once Biden takes office.
