LAPD looking for two who tried to steal one of two cars belonging to L.A. County District Attorney Jackie Lacey’s security detail

(Los Angeles, CA) — Police are looking for two suspects who tried to steal one of two cars belonging to L.A. County District Attorney Jackie Lacey’s security detail, parked outside her house in Granada Hills. Los Angeles police say the incident occurred when two men rolled up as one of the security officers was getting out of his car. Investigators say one of the men tried to get inside the unoccupied car. That prompted the security officer to start shooting. The two men fled without being hit by gunfire. Lacey has reportedly been getting death threats. She lost her re-election bid to former San Francisco D.A., the far-left George Gascon.
