Navarro Discusses Pandemic Response
(Washington, DC) — Trade and Manufacturing Policy Director Peter Navarro says the Trump administration’s response to the coronavirus pandemic has been done in “Trump Time.” He told MSNBC “we just do stuff as quickly as we can.” He says they’ve taken a four-vector attack strategy including production of PPE within the U.S., expansion of testing and development of therapeutics and a vaccine. Navarro says their response has been the fastest industrial mobilization since World War Two. His comments come after President Trump faced off against Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden in their first debate Tuesday night.
