Anaheim Signs $150 Million Deal to Sell Angel Stadium, Keep Team

(Anaheim, CA) — Anaheim is selling Angel Stadium but keeping the baseball team after signing a 150-million-dollar deal with Angels owner Arte Moreno. The Angels will stay in Anaheim through 2050 through the agreement. Moreno’s company, SRB Management, has agreed to build affordable housing and a park on the surrounding land. Councilman Stephen Faessel said the deal marks a “spectacular day for Anaheim.”
