LA Cops get COVID-19 from protests

(Los Angeles, CA) — More Los Angeles Police officers are dealing with the effects of coronavirus, and it may be due to the recent protests and looting. Police officials say the officers were exposed while trying to disperse crowds. There’s been a 21-percent increase in cases over the last week with the numbers jumping from 170 to 206. Health officials say the incubation period for the coronavirus can last as long as two weeks and it’s highly likely that the recent overall increase in positive cases in L.A. County is related to the mass protests over police killing minorities.
