Fire near the Getty- Sepulveda Pass- UPDATE

Firefighters have control and containment of the 50-acre brush fire in the Sepulveda Pass. No one was evacuated due to the fire, which broke out in a burn scar caused by the 20-17 Skirball Fire shortly after. The fire started shortly after  midnight. More than 2-hundred firefighters and four water-dropping helicopters fought the fire. An investigation is underway into what started it. Two firefighters were injured and treated on the scene.

(Bel Air, CA) — Fire crews are making progress on a brush fire in Bel Air. Officials say the Sepulveda Fire torched about 50 acres so far, but is now 15-percent contained. About 200 firefighters are battling the fire which broke out near the Getty Center Museum and the 405 overnight. Two firefighters are reportedly hurt and it’s unclear how the fire started. Getty Center, and 405 off-ramp are closed
