You may have noticed — and had to navigate around — a series of signs in the middle of the road proclaiming ‘street closed’ and ‘slow street’. This is a City of LA initiative to control the flow of cars on the streets. While this has been a goal of the city for years (road diets as part of the Vision Zero campaign), the signs began popping up as a response to the coronavirus pandemic. Some might say “Never let a crisis…”
