The Democratic presidential debate scheduled for Thursday at Loyola Marymount University is going ahead now that a labor dispute is settled. Workers for the company that provides food services for LMU had been striking. And the main candidates said they would not cross a picket line for the nationally-televised debate. Now, workers are getting a 25 percent pay increase and a 50 percent drop in healthcare costs so the strike is over and the debate is on.
There will be a presidential debate in Los Angeles after all.
