Federal agents say they nabbed the drug deals after an ultralight plane crossed the border from Mexico and dropped almost 200 pounds of meth near the Salton Sea. Officials say the containers of dope were picked up by suspects in dune buggies who sped away. They were chased by the California Highway Patrol and Border Patrol agents. One dune buggy pulled over, the other crashed into the Coachella Canal. Four suspects were arrested. Two posted bail. The other two are illegal immigrants who remain in jail.
