The bomb squad says a suspicious item appears to be a harmless movie prop. Crews were called to the scene on Hollywood Way at about 7:30 Wednesday morning. Because the item resembles a pipe bomb, they evacuated several apartment buildings. It’s not clear where the item came from, but the location is close to Burbank Studios and Warner Bros.
