Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva says most families are requesting privacy, but the parents of a teenage victim are releasing her name.

”We’re sad to report that Gracie Muehlberger a female, 15-years of age, was the one who succumb yesterday at 9:23 in the morning from her injuries.”

One boy also died. Three other students are recovering. The Sheriff says the 16-year-old suspect shot himself in the head after opening fire on his classmates at Saugus High School.

”It’s still remains a mystery why. So, I just want to encourage everyone: grab your kid, hold them a little tighter.”

Investigators are asking any witnesses to step forward.
