Doctor James Heaps faces numerous accusations from women who says the former UCLA gynecologist abused them during exams. Gabby Vasquez says she was abused while working as a medical assistant at UCLA.
”I was told to be quiet and to just go back to work. I was told I would lose my job if I continued to speak about my abuse.”
She’s also suing UCLA and the manager who she claims ignored her complaints. Heaps is facing criminal charges related to different patients. He’s pleading not guilty. The university says an independent review is examining UCLA’s response. No immediate response from the doctor or the manager named in the suit.
