There was no shooting at a mall in Canoga Park on Sunday, but reports of an apparent robbery spread like wildfire and caused panic in the stores. These eyewitnesses tell KTLA 5 that recent mass shooting in America has everyone on edge.

“I was assigned to be at the front, and then I had a customer come in and out, and when she came back in, she started yelling, ‘close the doors, close the doors, something’s happening.”

”You could be at a Wal-Mart or a garlic festival and really not know if you’re safe.”

Police confirm two people are in custody. Authorities say they will likely face grand theft or robbery charges.
