City Council member Ruth Luevanos posted a video on Facebook advising immigrants about their rights, if an ICE agent knocks on their door. People who live in the district are now launching a recall campaign, saying Luevanos is advocating lawlessness. Luevanos says she’s been receiving threats since posting the video and there was extra security at a meeting last night, which the public comment portion erupted in heated debate.
