Over 6-thousand LAPD officers are carrying doses of a nasal spray which blocks the effects of an opioid overdose. The department says more officers are inline to get the training thanks to a massive donation from the California Health and Human Services Agency. The donation will cover the cost of another 10-thousand doses of the spray. The department has saved 15 people from the brink of death, but the spay didn’t work on two people last year.
