Report rates California worst state for drivers

The research is backing up what most of us have already noticed – California is not a great place to drive.
Bankrate.com Data Journalist Adrian Garcia says the state is rated the worst for drivers based on three criteria.
”We looked at cost, which tends to be high for things like the cost of repairs and gas as well as driving quality; California doesn’t get much points for having smooth roads and good commute times; and the last point is safety, which California also scores at the low end in terms of traffic fatalities and vehicle thefts.”
He says 44 percent of the state’s roads are rated in poor condition  compared to the national average of 22 percent.
