Los Angeles drivers could soon experience changes in their commutes.
LA officials are considering raising out-of-date speed limits on over a hundred miles of city streets so police won’t be prevented from ticketing drivers.
Jay Beeber, the founder of SAFE STREETS LA DOT ORG says that’s just more propaganda.
“This is all about a movement by various groups to get speed cameras put in. And the way that they do that is they create this fake speeding crisis and say, ‘Well, if we lower the speed limit we make everybody a violator. Then we complain that everybody is a speeder. Now we can put in speed cameras because we don’t have enough police to enforce against everybody on the roadway.’ And so, this is really what this is about.”
Beeber was a guest on McIntyre in the Morning.
