The Los Angeles Police Department was working with Los Angeles school police today to investigate an apparent threat made against students at Van Nuys High School.

The threat was made via Snapchat, according to the LAPD, and security was beefed up at the campus in the 6400 block of Cedros Avenue.  According to NBC4, parents notified authorities after learning of the threat, which involved an apparent conversation among two young people who know one another.  The Snapchat conversation alleged that a person wanted to “kill everyone” at the school.
