Reports of a Man Impersonating Police Officer Sexually Assaulting Women in LA Area

Women in Hollywood are warned to be on the lookout for a man impersonating a plain-clothes police officer. He’s already assaulted two women.

LAPD says the assaults took place November 24th and November 30th when a man pulled over in a car, got out, and stopped his victims by identifying himself as a police officer.

“He approaches our victim on foot, shows a badge and a police ID and has the victim put her hands up against a wall. He begins to do a pat down search on her during which time he sexually assaults the victim.”

LAPD’s Mike Lopez described the suspect as a black male 5-feet-8 to 6-foot-3, around 250 pounds with a tattoo and birth mark on his cheek. He is armed. Women are warned not to walk alone late at night. Tom Perumean, KABC NEWS.
