By a unanimous vote the city Carson will move ahead with a stadium development.

Carson is moving ahead with plans to fast-track the construction of a 72-thousand seat football stadium in hopes of housing the Chargers and Raiders should they decide to abandon their respective cities.  The move by the city council bypasses putting the proposal to a vote of the people.  Carson Mayor Albert Robles told a local TV station, he hopes the enthusiasm Carson has shown for the stadium is recognized by NFL owners. The City Council acknowledged the more than eight thousand signatures were an overwhelming show of support for the stadium.  Tom Perumean, KABC NEWS.
